Viking Industrial Corporation was established in 1986 in Pittsburg, California as an international trading company specializing in flat rolled steel (tin mill products including electrolytic tinplate, electrolytic chromium coated (tin free) steel and black plate, and also sheet mill products including galvanized, pre-painted and cold rolled).
Viking supplies tin mill products to general line, sanitary can and auto component parts manufacturers, as well as sheet mill products to mills, coaters, service centers and OEM™s. We pride ourselves on a broad and thorough knowledge of the specifications and requirements pertaining to different can sizes, applications, production methods, coating, and decoration. We consider ourselves not just a logistical coordinator in getting product from steel mill to manufacturer, but as a partner in making sure that material supplied meets our customer™s requirements and works well for the ultimate intended application.
Our affiliate, Viking Processing Corporation, has the ability to cut to length, blank, multi-blank and slit both tin mill and sheet mill coils on state-of-the-art processing equipment. We employ loading, securing, and packaging techniques developed over many years to ensure safety, minimize the risk of damage, and prevent rust or condensation during transit. We have extensive experience and expertise in arranging transportation to worldwide destinations and handling required documentation.
