About

Project Delta View Cats (PDVC) is a 100 % volunteer-led program that ensures all community cats in our pilot project, in and around our marina area, are trapped, altered, vaccinated and returned back to the location they were found. Friendly community cats and kittens are entered into adoption paths if available. Ensuring that the cats are altered greatly reduces the potential for population growth in this area.

Our pilot project is currently bound by River View Park, up Linda Vista Avenue to 4th Street, across 4th Street to Harbor Street and back down Harbor to the waterfront. This includes the central promenade marina area, Basin #3 and surrounding residential and businesses.

PDVC will advise others outside its immediate service area in regard to Trap/Neuter/Spay/Return including how to trap, transport and recover cats, and will loan traps if available with a required deposit.

PDVC team members have created a program to promote and deliver humane management of Pittsburg's community cat population.

Contact PDVC at inforpdvc@gmail.com for further information.
