Meals on Wheels Diablo Region enhances the lives of Contra Costa County seniors by addressing the full range of their life needs. We are a full-service organization dedicated to improving all aspects of a senior’s quality of life. We use a coordinated care service approach that assesses a client’s situation and then provides links to a broad network of support services from nutrition to social interaction to fall prevention to health and wellness. Throughout, our goal is to empower older adults to live independently and with dignity in their homes for as long as possible.
Every day for the last 50 years Meals on Wheels Diablo Region has provided the support that allows Contra Costa County’s most vulnerable older adults to remain healthy and independent. Close to 10,000 people every year call us looking for help. For each of our clients, trained staff makes a holistic assessment of life needs and connects those in need with a network of support services.
